If you were born in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, here is a video dedication to you.
Congratulations on making it to the new millennium! For those with children, you can totally relate to the video. It is amazing how the world has changed compared to when we were growing up.
Back in the day, there were few regulations.” Child lock” in car doors was unheard off and baby cribs were a health hazard, thanks to the potentially lead paint. Nobody wore a helmet during bicycle riding. We drank water directly from the hose pipe. Try drinking water from the hose pipe today, yuck! Yet, we made it alive.
Life was simpler. Text messaging, Facebook and cell phones were a rumor. Talking to someone entailed riding your bike to their house, and having a face-to-face conversation.
It is amazing how we survived back then. We ate calorie-loaded cupcakes and drank soda without getting obese. We spent plenty of time outdoors and went home when the street lights came on. We produced great leaders, entertainers, and civic leaders too.
